Hope you get a good turnout! I’ll be in Sandy Point along with other Victorians and South Australians who booked and paid for accommodation there. We thought we’d drop our own marks into the inlet and have our own little event. See you next year if there’s more than a couple of weeks notice!

      Hey Adrian,
Blame the Mexicans (VIC) too lazy to organise the Nationals.

Hey Adrian. Really sorry about the late notice. Definitely was not out intention to spoil peoples holiday plans. I know a couple of guys from NSW are disappointed also, but are still traveling to Sandy Point for the experience. On a positive note, i think it is great that there will be some Slalom happening down there, hopefully it will get some momentum for the future.

Yeh we really need to get some regular racing back on the calendar but I’m afraid us Mexicans are just a little too laid back, man.

looked like there was some good racing on the Melbourne cup weekend at Sandy Point? Good to see.

Yep but missed that unfortunately. Went down for the next weekend and had 25-30knots wind and speedsailing and managed to better my average.

Please Rick get it right, our WV org wouldn,t run the event so it was going to be left to a small number of people to run the national event.Bit sad that our WV leaves it up to shops/private people to run events. No wonder there is no Vic slalom comp and GPS based events are proving popular.Would have competed in the Nats if it had been in Vic.Pity the lawyers won again

Craig you’re right about the WV issue, but nothing is stopping you from getting into the organisation and helping out or to effect change. There’s the AGM coming up…
