20knots a for a week before, 20knots a week after, NOTHING in the middle.  Very tough organising a windsurfing event when the weather is not playing cricket.  Still great to see so many new faces joining in the Formula circus.
It is also a great time to get some practice in for the Oceanics to be held in the first week of Feb at beautiful Hawks Nest. It looks like it is going to be a fantastic event at an amazing location. Check http://www.fw-australia.com/ for further details.
Accomodation is filling fast so get your skates on.
If people could register online as soon as possible, it helps the organisers budget and book events if they know how many people to expect.

And as a reminder to all racers
–Buoyancy aids are mandatory in NSW
http://www.maritime.nsw.gov.au/wh/lifejacket_reforms.html
–Sail Numbers need to be applied to all sails you are using while racing. If the finisher cannot clearly identify your sail number you will not get a result.
–Racing Rules. Yes, there are rules!! Who would have thought? They can be downloaded free from www.sailing.org or contact me and I will email the relevant documents to you.
