A lovely sparkly day at Palm Beach yesterday! The wind wasn’t perfect but the Palm Beach Sailing Club crew did a great job of getting 4 races in for us when we could have spent a lot of time just hanging around waiting for things to settle which didn’t really happen. The winds swung from NW to NE from 0 to the odd planing gust, so we all had to be on our toes. There were a few quick dips throughout the fleet but the water was nice and refreshing.
The next round is at another prime location, Collingwood Beach, Jervis Bay in 2 weeks on Oct 28 & 29. It is being run in conjunction with the Sand and Sea festival at Husskison so there is plenty of family entertainment available. It is a separate entry to the Series see below.
